One day inspector Cumulus found the killer of the wife of a man in a commune so to thanx him he paint this.

What is it's story?
One day inspector Cumulus found new power ‘’eye in the sky’’. When he fly he can watch and know were the criminal are.

THE ORIGIN OF DRAING CUMULUS

In 2011, TOYSREVIL organized and hosted an illustration contest, whereby folks were asked to interpret a character created by Jonathan Edwards (@Jontofski) by the name of "INSPECTOR CUMULUS", who at the time of the contest was made into a vinyl figure by (the now defuncted) Crazy Label toys, who had co-sponsored the prizes, which included said vinyl toy, as as well sketchbooks and original art by Jonathan himself.

The Top Winners were picked by 3 Judges - namely Jonathan himself, Andy Woo (of Crazy Label), and Andy Heng ("Me" of TOYSREVIL).

I was keen to hold a "drawing contest" on my blog, and with the advent of a "toy" that came with said illustrated character, was a perfect match to the blog and my sensibilities! I had initially bugged both Jonathan and Andy Woo about being apart of this scheme, and to sponsor prizes for the contest, and I am glad they came on board, with their generosity, and time spent on deliberating and deciding the winners.

"Drawing Cumulus" is one of the most satisfying contests I had organized and managed thru my decade in blogging (till now in 2015), and remains a triumphant close to my heart. As well it was of the most successful "illustration" contest on the predominantly "toys" blog that which is TOYSREVIL, and I think that is pretty swell notion!
